Right of withdrawal

NOTE: All Christmas presents are exchanged up to and including 13 Jan. 2023.

Interior and newly produced goods

You can return an item to within 14 days.

The amount is returned by bank transfer issued to the person who appears on the purchase invoice. Please state whether the item is to be returned or exchanged. Returned goods without information are not processed until information is provided to Miomio vintage.

Returns due to regret are at the buyer's own expense. This also includes the original delivery cost. Miomio vintage recommends that the item be returned via Post Danmark or GLS and that the item be sent as parcel post. In this way, it is possible to track the package and it removes any doubt as to whether the item has been delivered to Miomio vintage. In addition, the customer has the option to request the package if delivery has not taken place.

Goods that are returned on cash on delivery, to a parcel box or that are sent without postage are not accepted by Miomio vintage.

All goods returned to Miomio vintage must be securely wrapped. Damage as a result of defective packaging may cause your rights to expire.

Vintage furniture

Vintage furniture from Miomio vintage can be returned within 14 days, but cannot be exchanged for another item as they are unique items. If you wish to return a piece of furniture, you must arrange and pay the delivery costs yourself.

Custom-made furniture cannot be returned, cf. the Purchase Act.

Miomio vintage recommends that returned furniture is only shipped with shipping companies that are used to handling furniture.

Furniture must be stored, handled and packed properly so that it is returned in the same condition as it was received. Damage as a result of defective handling or packaging of furniture may cause your rights to expire.


Interior and newly produced goods provides a 2-year right of complaint in accordance with the Sales Act, covering manufacturing and material defects that are detected during normal use of the product.

The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly caused by incorrect operation, poor maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.

Complaints about errors and defects that should be discovered by usual examination of the item must be notified to within a reasonable time. In the case of acute damage caused during transport, this must be reported within 3 working days at the latest after receiving the goods. Otherwise, the claim for compensation from GLS is waived.

The item can subsequently be returned for repair, exchange or, by agreement, if necessary. crediting.

In connection with complaint cases, bears return costs to a reasonable extent.

Vintage furniture

Pursuant to the Sales Act, the right of complaint applies to damages and defects found during the normal use of the goods.

In the event of newly occurring damage, either superficial or functional: Damage to furniture in connection with freight must be reported and documented before the freight company's carrier leaves the address where the furniture in question has been delivered to, otherwise your rights will lapse.

Miomio vintage endeavors to repair and restore recycled furniture so that it is functional, taking the age of the furniture into account. If otherwise, this is stated in the product description.

Used condition and normal patina as well as "the ravages of time" are to be expected since the furniture is often over 100 years old and this is not grounds for complaint.

All furniture returned to Miomio vintage must be securely wrapped. Damage as a result of inadequate handling or packaging may cause your rights to expire.

Freight & Delivery

Delivery interior

Miomio vintage offers delivery with GLS to parcel shops (DKK 45) and private addresses (DKK 65), as well as free delivery on purchases over DKK 1000 (does not apply to vintage furniture). Shipping time is 1-3 business days.

It can be delivered to businesses, but if you choose a business address, the package will be delivered to the nearest GLS parcel shop. We always endeavor to ship from our warehouse as soon as possible - preferably within 1-2 days after the order has been placed. With pre-orders, a longer delivery time must be expected, this is always disclosed by Miomio vintage.

Delivery furniture

Miomio vintage offers professional delivery of furniture with a shipping company to the whole country (DKK 750). Furniture is endeavored to be delivered within 7-10 working days after it has been collected by the shipping company at Miomio vintage. We book furniture collection, after which the delivery company collects the furniture and contacts you when the delivery date approaches. The relevant delivery date and time of day are agreed between the freight company and the customer.

Miomio vintage packs and prepares the furniture for transport. Delivery of furniture is carried out by Esbjerg Transport to the curb. It is the freight company's responsibility to transport the goods safely, and furniture is handled professionally and exclusively by freight forwarders employed by Esbjerg transport. The furniture is automatically insured by agreement between Miomio vintage and Esbjerg transport. In the event of damage to a piece of furniture received, please see the refund policy section.

Smaller furniture (max. 50x70cm) can possibly be delivered with GLS to private addresses, depending on the size of the furniture. It will always be clear which mode of transport the item in question requires. The expected delivery time for small furniture is 5-7 days, as the furniture must first dry up well before shipping.

Collection of furniture and interiors at Miomio vintage

Miomio vintage has no physical store or fixed opening hours. If you wish to collect a piece of furniture or interior yourself, this can only be done by agreement with Miomio vintage.

Purchased furniture and interiors can be picked up at Miomio vintage's warehouse and workshop at the address: Tåningvej 35, 8660 Skanderborg. Tuesday-Friday between 12-17, but items can ONLY be picked up with confirmation of the time from Miomio vintage as we are not there fixed times.

Miomio vintage is happy to store purchased goods and furniture for a reasonable time, but this requires an agreement with us.

- Interior delivery: DKK 65 throughout Denmark with GLS to a private address

Free shipping on purchases over DKK 1000 (does not apply to vintage furniture) and only to the nearest GLS parcel shop

- Delivery of furniture: DKK 750 in shipping price per furniture to an address in Denmark (NOTE: for non-landed islands the shipping price is double). Storage of personal data

The personal information is registered with Miomio vintage and stored for five years, cf. the Accounting Act, after which the information is deleted. When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that this happens by giving your express consent, so that you are informed about exactly what information is collected and why.

Miomio vintage has access to the information recorded about you.

We do not store customer information encrypted.

Information provided to is in no way sold on to third parties, and we do not register any personally sensitive information.
